Colin Munnelly

Responsible for the ongoing technical development of Safe Route products and their implementation on site, Colin is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and going the extra mile for his clients. With over twenty years experience delivering major construction programmes to customers such as Unilever, Ascot Racecourse, and St Pancras Station, Colin is driven by a desire to provide an efficient and productive service through which projects can be delivered quickly and cost effectively.

In 2006, seeking a quick, customisable alternative to scaffolding, Colin realised that a self-assembled system of tunnels could allow unique on site configurations of protected pathways for workers and pedestrians.  From this primary concept, Colin has developed the unique Safe Route system which makes significant and fundamental improvements to the planning and delivery of the construction programme. His determination to provide time and money saving solutions for his customers is as strong as ever.

Matthew Robinson

Matthew matches the requirements of the client with the necessary Safe Route system and manages its supply. His understanding of how construction sites work, and of component material design, allows him to identify how these benefits improve the construction programme.

Matthew’s portfolio includes major projects at St Pancras Station, Albion Riverside, and the new Wembley Stadium. Throughout all of these jobs, Matthew has adhered to a design ethos influenced by the public construction projects of the 50s and 60s (CLASP/SEAC), in which building materials were stripped down to their fundamental components to allow more efficient and flexible planning and rolled out on a mass scale. This is what characterises the component based, modular nature of the Safe Route product. Matthew’s appreciation of the link between great design and great delivery makes him the ideal person to find a Safe Route solution to fit the customer’s needs.
